The Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog™ Dual Throttle is Thrustmaster's replica of the dual throttle system and throttle control panel from the U.S. Air Force A-10C. It is sold as a standalone throttle for PC, aimed at pilots who already own a joystick and want a full HOTAS (Hands On Throttle And Stick) setup.
Both throttle levers use Thrustmaster's H.E.A.R.T. magnetic (Hall Effect) sensors at 14-bit resolution (16,384 values) per throttle. A locking system joins the two levers or leaves them independent for two-engine control, and the weighted control panel adds 15 action buttons and a TRIM wheel.
For a home PC setup, the Warthog throttle gives you two levers you can lock together or split for independent engine control, pull-and-push idle and afterburner detents, and a built-in switch panel for procedures that would otherwise live on the keyboard.
The tradeoff is on the commercial side. Thrustmaster's warranty does not apply if the product is used for anything other than home use, including professional or commercial purposes such as game rooms, training, and competitions. Venues and training operators should plan for that before specifying it.
The two throttle levers can be locked together or kept independent, so the same unit works for single-lever and two-engine flying.
A locking system attaches the two throttles together or keeps them separate.
Moving into the Idle and Afterburner detents uses a pull-and-push action.
Turn right to increase lever resistance, left to decrease. It ships at minimum friction, and minimum to maximum takes roughly ten full turns.
H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) places 3D magnetic (Hall Effect) sensors on both throttles.
Thrustmaster's stated resolution for each of the two throttles.
Thrustmaster describes it as a 2-axis mini-stick with its own 3D magnetic (Hall Effect) sensor.
The throttle unit has a metal hand rest, and Thrustmaster lists 17 action buttons in total, plus 1 mouse hat with push button and one 8-way "point of view" hat, on the throttle unit:
The control panel sits on a weighted base (over 3.5 kg) built in underneath the throttles. Thrustmaster lists 15 action buttons in total plus 1 TRIM wheel, and describes realistic pressure on the buttons and switches, with industrial metal switches (2 or 3 positions) on the panel:
Five intensity levels, from 1 (minimum) to 5 (maximum), with level 2 as the default. Set in T.A.R.G.E.T.
The 5 LEDs can be managed directly in T.A.R.G.E.T.
The throttle connects by USB and has upgradeable firmware. Drivers, firmware and the T.A.R.G.E.T software are published on Thrustmaster's support page for this product.
Thrustmaster's suite to test, configure and program its controllers, including simulating virtual keyboard, joystick and mouse devices. System requirement: Windows 10 / 11.
Thrustmaster's current Hotas Warthog driver package lists Windows 11 / 10.

Thrustmaster describes the Dual Throttle as part of a range that can be used together: the Hotas Warthog Dual Throttle, Hotas Warthog Flight Stick, TFRP rudder pedals and MFD (Multi-Functional Display) cockpit panels, all compatible with T.A.R.G.E.T.
Complete a HOTAS setup around a stick you already have.
Split the levers for independent control of 2 engines.
Move start-up and system functions onto a physical panel.

No. This is the standalone Dual Throttle. The HOTAS Warthog Flight Stick is sold separately.
Thrustmaster lists PC as the platform. It does not list any console.
Yes. A locking system lets you join the two throttles or keep them independent for control of 2 engines.
The afterburner stop is not installed by default. Thrustmaster's manual explains how to remove the bar between the levers with the included Allen key, turn the module upside down and refit it.
