Choosing a Golf Enclosure: Listing Type, Fixed or Retractable, and What Ships With It
This collection brings together several different kinds of product, and they are not interchangeable. Some listings are complete enclosure kits, some are a screen or a net on its own, and some are room accessories that finish a bay you have already built. Check which one you are viewing before you order.
Know which kind of listing you are looking at
Complete enclosure kits pair a frame with an impact screen and are listed here as enclosure kits. Turnkey booth packages are sold as a single configured product. Some listings in this collection are practice nets rather than enclosures, so if you intend to project an image, confirm that the listing includes an impact screen. Room accessories such as side netting, acoustic and wall tiles, curtains and mat extension strips are finishing items for a bay rather than a bay in themselves. The product title and the specifications on each product page tell you which you are looking at.
Fixed or retractable
A fixed enclosure stays assembled in the space. Retractable systems deploy for practice and pull away afterward, which can help preserve use of a shared garage, basement, or multi-use room. Mounting methods differ by manufacturer and model, so review the mounting instructions and space requirements on the specific product page.
Before you order, confirm
- Whether the listing includes the frame, the screen, or both
- The manufacturer's stated space and clearance requirements for that model, including ceiling height
- How the system mounts, and whether your ceiling or wall can carry it
- Whether you also need an impact screen, side netting, or a mat
- Which launch monitor you intend to use, and where it has to sit in the bay
