The LG ProBeam BU53RG is a DLP laser projector that produces 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) using XPR, rated at 5,000 ANSI lumens with a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. LG lists it on its ProBeam golf simulator page as ideal for narrow spaces.
Its short-throw lens (0.94–1.14) with 1.2x zoom and lens shift fits compact bays, and it supports HDR.
A 0.94–1.14 throw ratio lets the BU53RG sit closer to the screen than a standard-throw projector, which helps in narrower rooms.
Short-throw placement still needs to keep the projector clear of the swing path. Send us your room layout and we will check the position.
