The Honeycomb Foxtrot Aviation Stick is Honeycomb's first flight stick, built for aircraft flown with a stick rather than a yoke, such as Airbus jets and aerobatic planes. It uses a linear resistance system with no center detent, and tension is adjustable separately for the X and Y axes.
Honeycomb pairs a gimbal-based mechanism with 16-bit Hall Effect sensing. The stick twists left and right for rudder control, and Honeycomb adds a light switch row and a multi-function switch panel with two rotary encoders. It connects over USB-C to USB-A.
Foxtrot makes the most sense if you mostly fly aircraft that use a stick. The absence of a center detent lets you make small corrections through neutral without feeling a notch, and the per-axis tension adjustment lets you set the feel you want. The twist axis gives you rudder control before you own pedals.
The tradeoff is scope. If most of your hours are in yoke-equipped GA aircraft or airliners, a yoke will match those cockpits more closely. And because Honeycomb does not describe how Foxtrot mounts, check your desk or stand plan with us before you commit to a layout.
Movement stays consistent through the center, with no notch at neutral.
Tension is set individually for the X and Y axes. Honeycomb includes the Allen key in the base.
