Home Automation Paring Instructions

Pairing Remote Control

1. Pair Motor with Remote 1
2. Plug in motor (motor will vibrate).
3. Press up and down buttons on remote simultaneously.
4. Press STOP button once within 10 seconds of prior step (motor will vibrate).
5. Remote has been paired.

Setting the Upper and Lower Limits

1. Press up and down buttons simultaneously.
2. Press stop button once within 10 seconds of prior step.
3. Press up button once within 10 seconds of prior step (motor will vibrate and is now in Precision Mode).
4. Press and hold to operate up or down, using stop to stop the motion. A simple press will inch the screen in the selected direction helping to get to a precise position so you can set the upper and lower limits.

Upper Limit

1. Operate the screen to desired height for upper limit using the up button.
2. Once at desired height, press up and down simultaneously.
3. Press stop twice within 10 seconds of previous step.
4. Press up once within 10 seconds of previous step (motor will vibrate).

Lower Limit

1. Once at desired height, press up and down simultaneously.
2. Press stop twice within 10 seconds of prior step.
3. Press down once within 10 seconds of prior step.

Remove Precision Mode (now that limits are set for ease of operation)

1. Press up and down simultaneously
2. Press stop button once within 10 seconds of prior step
3. Press down button once within 10 seconds of prior step (motor will vibrate)

Pairing Remote to Home Automation System (optional)

1. Download the Tuya Smart App, create an account.
2. Click on the plus tab and a prompt for “Add Device” will drop down. Select the devices which come up on the network.
3. Wifi information will pop up on selecting the device, click next.
4. Repeat steps 2&3 for any additional motors.
5. Optional: To group devices, click on 1 device then click the top right pen icon. Then click, “Create Group” and add the remaining devices.
6. You can now automate!
7. To connect to Alexa, Google or other smart hubs, in the Tuya Smart App, select the “Me” tab, here you will find third party links to connect your SportScreen to your smart device.

Pairing Multiple Motors with a Remote

1. Ensure the screen is at the bottom limit and then unplug the already paired motor(s).

2. Plug in unpaired motor and repeat above steps.

3. Once all desired motors have been paired to the remote separately with screens at bottom limit plug all

motors in and operate system.

TIPS:

– Operate screen into retracted position, the screen should roll up smoothly if the screen rolls up on an

angle, adjust and straighten the velcro connection between headroll tube assembly and top of the screen.

– With a helper, pull lightly on either side of the screen while retracting it to help eliminate wrinkles (only required the first few uses).

Remote Troubleshooting (optional)

Motor Direction Change

Option 1: Press and hold the button on the end of the motor for 3 seconds.

Option 2: Using the remote

1. Press up and down simultaneously.
2. Press stop button 6 times within 10 seconds of prior step.
3. Press down once (motor should vibrate).

Delete Upper Limit

1. Decided you like a different height? Delete the upper limit using the below and head back to set the upper limit again
2. Press up and down simultaneously
3. Press stop 4 times within 10 seconds of prior step
4. Press up once within 10 seconds of prior step

Delete Lower Limit

1. Decided you like a different height? Delete the lower limit using the below and head back to set the lower limit again
2. Press up and down simultaneously
3. Press stop 4 times within 10 seconds of prior step
4. Press down once within 10 seconds of prior step

Unpairing Current Remote

1. Press up and down simultaneously
2. Press stop button 7 times within 10 seconds of prior step
3. Press up once within 10 seconds of the prior step (motor will vibrate)
