The Thrustmaster HOTAS Magnetic Base is a standalone, industrial-grade joystick foundation engineered for high-fidelity flight and combat simulation on Windows PC.
Designed to serve as the mechanical core of a custom flight setup, the base utilizes H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology). By employing 3D magnetic sensors, it delivers 16-bit resolution (65,536 x 65,536 values) for friction-free precision across the pitch and roll axes. The unit features a weighted, detachable metal plate and a modular neck design compatible with the full range of Thrustmaster flight grip add-ons.
H.E.A.R.T Sensor Architecture
- Frictionless Operation: 3D Hall Effect (Magnetic) sensors eliminate mechanical potentiometers, ensuring precision that does not degrade over time due to wear.
- High Resolution: Provides 65,536 distinct values on both the X and Y axes, enabling surgical control for aerial refueling and precision targeting.
- Zero Dead Zones: Advanced magnetic sensing technology ensures an immediate and linear response to any stick deflection.
